Job alert does not have remote as a location

Most positions I find on other job websites (linkedin, stepstone, etc) for my field that link to join have their location set to “remote” but I can’t even activate that for my job alert and have to select a city. There aren’t any jobs for my field in my city though and I depend on random listings on other websites. Please add “remote” as an option.
